I have just failed while taking the Wonderlic test. Although I have been at my profession for 18 years
but I made a Wonderlic result of 16.....needless to
say, I didn't get the job.

I am disappointed with this psychological tool!

I took this test , I failed .. off course .. I have been in my profession for many years , and how they can measure my skills from this stupid test?
IM trying to going back to school , in RN major.They make harder and harder .
'LIke they said before , teens that just came out form high school , they r fresh .. but us , long time out school ... OH ..PLZ !!! Must be ridiculious

I have taken the Wonderlic test a few times. I do not think anyone can complete it all in 12 minutes. From my observation at different hiring companies, I am convinced that there are cases where the hiring decision makers already 'know' someone (e.g. relative or friend) whom they 'really' want to hire for the position, so the '12 minute test' simply becomes a 'legal' way of rejecting the candidates they don't 'like' (e.g. due to race, ethnicity, or being a non-relative or non-friend). That way, on paper, they can give the 'appearance' that they used 'objective' methods to 'select' the best candidate for the job. Just a smoke screen - get used to the new realities of the work place. It's not what you know anymore, it's who you know.

I currently work in the medical field as a MA, so decided to go to the next step RN, I applied at a private college , becuase they had a AS, RN progrm, (i do already have a AS)just in something else, IN ANY case i had score a 25 of 50!.. Apparently i am an idiot as this test says my score of 19, sucks!!! I CANT BELIEVE THIS CRAP.. 12 minutes!!! math that you have to read a paragraph to solve, how the heck can ne one do that in 12 minutes, Its not like i was applying for med school , just trying to go back to school, !!!!!!!!!!!!!! this test has made me feel like i am a failure, ANY smart people haveany ideas for me i get the chance to fail again in 60 days!!!!

This is a pathetic way of testing people, if your fresh out of college and young, it would be easy, if you have been working at your profession for many years, you can do it but just not in 12 minutes.
